TERRAZZO GraniTech Microterrazzo is a seamless surface of natural granite and acrylic resin, with embedded black and beige aggregates — the strength of stone, the flexibility of resin, in a patented, cement-free body that is waterproof even before sealing. It is applied by trowel — onto new concrete for floors, drywall for interior walls, or over existing tile in a remodel — wherever the surface is smooth, stable and properly prepared. Interior rooms, showers and exterior terraces finish as one continuous plane — without grout lines, or with dividers drawn exactly where you choose.

TERRAZZO GraniTech Microterrazzo embeds stone aggregate of 0.6–0.8 mm in the surface itself — a microterrazzo speckle reading through one seamless plane, applied at about 2 mm per coat. It is available in three variations, set by the amount of stone: Roma carries the least, 600Q the middle ground, Zambia the most.

All three begin on a white base and tint with any of the Medium pigments — we recommend the light colors, so the stone stays in view. Depending on your sealer, the finish ranges from matte to gloss. The complete system is just 1/8″ thick — the strength lies in the system, not the thickness.

The trowel writes the pattern; the finish sets the grain.

Every finish takes any movement — calm and modern to boldly artistic, monolithic and even, or high-contrast, with lighter and darker tones drawn from a single color. Here, you are choosing the grain.

Measured in our workshop at ~2 mm applied thickness per coat. Actual coverage varies with substrate and technique. The materials calculator applies these rates with a 10% waste allowance, or shop pails directly.

Application

Hand-troweled in thin passes over the system primer. Long working time; no lap lines between passes. Sheen — matte, semi-gloss or gloss — is set by the sealer. Full method statement in the installation instructions.

What is the difference between Microterrazzo and Micromosaic?

Both deliver the terrazzo look. TERRAZZO GraniTech Microterrazzo is a troweled finish — the chips are in the material as it goes on. Micromosaic is a resurfacing build: the mosaic lives in a resin-bound layer that is coated and then hand-sanded back until the stone breaks through. Microterrazzo is the faster, thinner route; Micromosaic the deeper, floor-only one.

Can I get a terrazzo look on walls?

Yes — that is Microterrazzo’s quiet advantage. Poured terrazzo lives on floors; TERRAZZO GraniTech Microterrazzo goes on walls, floors and wet areas alike, so the speckle can wrap a room — shower walls included.

Can it be used in showers and wet areas?

Yes. TERRAZZO GraniTech is waterproof even before sealing, and stands up to the surfactants in modern shampoos and cleaners. In showers, the system is installed over a waterproofing membrane, finished with the wet-area sealer.

How do the three variations differ?
