Carrier Responsibility / Transfer of Risk
We are not a delivery or transportation company. Orders may be packed and shipped by a third-party fulfillment partner (“3PL”) on our behalf. Once your order is tendered to the shipping carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS, LTL/FTL freight, or a local courier) and accepted for transit, title and risk of loss transfer to the customer, and our responsibility for delivery ends to the fullest extent permitted by law. Proof of hand-off may include the carrier’s pickup/acceptance scan, shipment confirmation, and/or bill of lading (maintained by our 3PL and/or the carrier). Carrier services, handling, and delivery performance are subject to the carrier’s terms and conditions.
Delivery Estimates
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, routing, customs (if applicable), scheduling/appointments, or other events outside our control. We are not responsible for carrier delays once a shipment has been accepted by the carrier.
Inspection Required at Delivery (Damage / Missing Items)
Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery and before signing any delivery confirmation (delivery receipt / proof of delivery / bill of lading).
- If there is visible damage, signs of tampering, shortage, or missing items, you must note the issue clearly in writing on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery (examples: “box crushed,” “pallet wrap torn,” “1 of 3 cartons missing,” “corner damage,” etc.).
- If a shipment is signed for without written exceptions/remarks, it is treated as received in good condition, and the carrier (and/or we) will be unable to support a claim for damage or shortage.
- For concealed damage (not visible at delivery), please notify us in writing within 48 hours of delivery and retain all products and packaging for potential carrier inspection.
Claims & Documentation
If you report a shipping issue, we will request photos and documentation and may need to coordinate with the carrier. Please keep all packaging and affected items until the claim is resolved. Claims are subject to carrier rules, inspection requirements, and timelines. Failure to follow the carrier’s procedures and deadlines may result in denial of the claim.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and contact information. We are not responsible for delays, loss, or additional fees caused by incorrect or incomplete address details. Re-delivery, rerouting, and reshipping fees will apply.
Delivery Conditions & Additional Carrier Fees
For freight and certain deliveries, the customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible and able to accept delivery during the carrier’s delivery window/appointment time. Any additional carrier charges—such as liftgate service, limited access, appointment fees, waiting time, re-delivery, storage, address correction, or similar accessorial fees—are the customer’s responsibility.
Partial Shipments
Orders may ship in multiple packages or shipments. Items may arrive separately, and delivery of one package does not guarantee all packages will arrive on the same day.
Handling & Storage After Delivery
Once delivered, the customer is responsible for proper handling and storage in accordance with product instructions. We are not responsible for damage or performance issues caused by improper storage, jobsite conditions, misuse, or installation.
Limitation of Liability
All products are final sale. Once an order has been placed or processed, it cannot be canceled, returned, exchanged, or refunded due to change of mind, design changes, over-ordering, project delays, scheduling issues, or any other reasons.
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer must notify us in writing within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs, batch information, and any other documentation reasonably requested so we may review the claim. We do not accept claims for products that have been opened, mixed, tinted, applied, improperly stored, or used contrary to instructions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to an order is limited to the amount actually paid for the products in that specific order, excluding shipping charges, taxes, labor, installation costs, storage fees, and any other third- party or other charges. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, project delays, labor costs, downtime, removal costs, reinstallation costs, substitute materials, third-party contractor charges, or loss of business opportunity.
