A coarse-grained seamless surface, rich in texture — for walls, floors, wet areas and exteriors.

TERRAZZO GraniTech Medium is a seamless surface of natural granite and acrylic resin — the strength of stone, the flexibility of resin, in a patented, cement-free body that is waterproof even before sealing. It is applied by trowel — onto new concrete for floors, drywall for interior walls, or over existing tile in a remodel — wherever the surface is smooth, stable and properly prepared. Interior rooms, showers and exterior terraces finish as one continuous plane — without grout lines, or with dividers drawn exactly where you choose.

TERRAZZO GraniTech Medium features a coarser grain size, giving the surface a gentle mineral texture that catches the light through the day. Depending on your sealer, the finish ranges from matte to gloss; depending on the hand that applies it, the movement ranges from calm and uniform to boldly expressive. The complete system is just 1/8″ thick — the strength lies in the system, not the thickness.

Every finish takes any movement — calm and modern to boldly artistic, monolithic and even, or high-contrast, with lighter and darker tones drawn from a single color. Here, you are choosing the grain.

Application

Hand-troweled in thin passes over the system primer. Long working time; no lap lines between passes. Sheen — matte, semi-gloss or gloss — is set by the sealer. Full method statement in the installation instructions.

TERRAZZO GraniTech Medium is often chosen where a textured microcement would be specified. It is not a microcement — it is natural granite in acrylic resin, entirely cement-free — but it covers the same applications and delivers the same aesthetic, without the cracking and darkening that cement-based systems can develop. Can I get a limewash look with TERRAZZO GraniTech?

Is this an alternative to Venetian plaster or Roman clay?

Venetian plaster and Roman clay are smooth, troweled looks — closest to TERRAZZO GraniTech Fine, the fine grain of the same cement-free system. Choose TERRAZZO GraniTech Medium when you want more texture than a polished plaster; choose TERRAZZO GraniTech Fine for the smooth, quiet plane.

Can it be used like tadelakt, in showers and wet areas?

Yes — and with fewer demands than tadelakt itself. Tadelakt keeps water out through its olive-soap treatment and needs regular resealing to stay that way; it comes from a time of bar soap and far less frequent showers. TERRAZZO GraniTech is waterproof before sealing, stands up to the surfactants in modern shampoos and cleaners, and needs no scheduled resealing. Can TERRAZZO GraniTech Medium be used on floors?

Yes — walls and floors alike, interior and exterior. For floors and high-traffic areas, the system is finished with the appropriate sealer; anti-slip Grade R11 is specified for wet and exterior floors. Coverage rates are the same as walls — see the coverage table above or the materials calculator.

Can I combine TERRAZZO GraniTech Medium and TERRAZZO GraniTech Fine in one space?

Yes — and not only side by side. TERRAZZO GraniTech Medium often works as the basecoat, with TERRAZZO GraniTech Fine added as the final coat by brush or trowel, so both grains stay visible in one surface and play against each other — a contrast unique to the system. Both take the same colors.

How do I choose between TERRAZZO GraniTech Medium and TERRAZZO GraniTech Fine?

You are choosing the grain size — the trowel writes the movement on either. Choose TERRAZZO GraniTech Medium for the larger grain and visible mineral texture, TERRAZZO GraniTech Fine for the small grain — velvety, smooth, quiet planes. Undecided?
